This is fair. I almost turned my Pixel for an iPhone pro max and glad I did not. Android is so much more convenient. Plus I can add as much memory as I want.

Beware, within 18 months of purchase, mine has had its fold out screen film replaced twice (thankfully within the guarantee period). But immediately thereafter, coinciding with it falling outside the guarantee, it's become an unusable slab - the front LCD screen has failed. Because of that there is no accessibility to WiFi (apparently the WiFi is integrated with the front screen). SIM slot no. 2 is unusable. To repair it requires the large foldout screen to be replaced because the SIM slot is integrated with the foldout screen! A marvel of design. And, the starter switch does not work. All this within 18 months of purchase and very careful use. Cost of getting it to start working again: Rs. 70-75,000 (as per the local Samsung service centre). Guarantee on repair? 3 months. Are these guys kidding?? Avoid the GalaxyZFold if you value your money. And your peace of mind.

Nobody would use this e-ink display. The refresh rate is terrible and you cannot do most of the things that you normally do with your phone (camera, consuming different kind of contents, playing games, scrolling through your FB or other kind of social media..

I have the camera-less version of this phone, the Hi Reader Pro, and it's interesting, but not really usable as a daily driver: - Speed is bout 10 frames per second in smooth/dirty mode, which is really sluggish, but of course nothing to do with the 2 frames? of a regular eink device (like the Kindle). Videos are almost watchable, but not quite there. - Performance is bad, regardless of the screen refresh rate. It uses an UNISOC T610, but feels more like one of those uber crappy MTK 65XX SOCs. - 90+% of programs are not really designed for a black and white screen. Spotify, for example, just looks waaaay too dark. - Memory management is too aggressive, it kills everything in sight regardless of the optimization option of the app. It's even worse than my Kospet Optimus 2 smartwatch. It's hard to keep an app in memory, ReVanced's MicroG/GMS was a nightmare to keep alive. - You would expect a really long battery life with an eink screen, but NO, it just have a regular 1-day intense battery usage. Screen is no longer the problem of the battery life in Android phones compared to system or networking. - 4G, but no VoLTE iirc (could be wrong, I haven't used it in the last months). - It rocks call recording, but only in AMR audio (2003 is calling, he want's his audio format back). - One speaker. The best part of the phone is the package, to be honest. It feels like a 2,500$ phone package. Again, the Hi Reader Pro model, this one, the A9, just have a crappy/chinese package.

I’m a an IPhone user and love it but, you are dead right about the text scheduling. I use the Verizon messenger app as a work around but I should not have to. Also for the settings, it lives in my bottom tray. I work at a church and almost all our computers are apple so, it works great for me.

The back of the phone wasn’t expensive because it’s hard to replace, but because it’s the most common to get broken, and the people has to repair it. Obviously 90% of the people, at least, is using screen protector on their phones. So, yeah…..👍🏻
